Aspinall set to face Ratajski in final of Players Championship 17 in Wigan

The final is confirmed at Players Championship 17 in Wigan with Nathan Aspinall set to take on Krzysztof Ratajski in the final with £10,000 up for grabs for the winner shortly.

Aspinall came through a thriller against Ron Meulenkamp with the latter coming so close to seeing off the UK Open champion but it was the 'The Asp' who kept his cool to come out a 7-5 winner against the Dutchman.

Ratajski on the other hand came through with ease against James Wilson who endured a good run in his pursuit of a World Matchplay spot but a 101 average and a 7-3 win meant that the Polish Eagle was just too strong in the end.

'The Asp' will be the favourite in the final due to his UK Open victory; but Ratajski has been the star all day and will be looking to add to his title haul once again in Wigan.
