Results Players Championship 4, Quarter-Finals: Noppert dumps out Van Gerwen, Wright beats Kuivenhoven with 112 average

Noppert ended the run of Michael van Gerwen in a 6-4 victory. He led 3-0 and withstood the Mighty Mike barrage to draw level but he kept his composure to claim a first win over his compatriot.

Next up for him will be Krzysztof Ratajski who continues his phenomenal day as he has emerged as one of the favourites to claim the title later today. He averaged 106 as he edged past Gabriel Clemens who averaged 100.

For Wright he also produced a comeback akin to Michael van Gerwen but ended up winning through from that position as he defeated Maik Kuivenhoven after levelling it up at 2-2. He gave his opponent no chance though with a phenomenal 112 average.

He will take on another ProTour stalwart in Ian White who is having his best run of the year so far, he defeated Mensur Suljovic who has also looked good today in a 6-3 victory.
