As usual there was a cluster of players in a section of the draw all smashing in massive averages also with Ian White continuing his brilliance with a 106 to dispel Kim Huybrechts 6-5.

Kai Fan Leung has had a pretty good start to PDC life and that continues as he saw off another in-form player in Devon Petersen 6-4 with a 104.3 average.

James Wade who he will face next saw off Mickey Mansell with a 105 average in a 6-0 whitewash and Peter Wright also eased through 6-2 against Arjan Konterman. These Players Championship weekends are known for their brilliance but can any more records be broken today?
