There were many complaints on social media on Saturday from players who took part in the qualification tournament for the UK Open in Norwich.
One of the so-called Rileys Qualifiers took place in Norwich. These qualifiers allow sixteen amateur players to qualify for the UK Open, which also includes the 128 PDC Tour Card holders.
But the circumstances in Norwich caused a lot of fuss. Snooker sticks were used as an oche on the practice boards, while the oche on some of the match dartboards were covered with tape. There were also many complaints about overflowing toilets at the Rileys Qualifier in Norwich.
Rileys Sports Bars has apologised via Twitter for all the problems surrounding the qualifying tournament. ''We are aware of the issues today at Rileys Norwich and want to assure customers that this is not standard practice and it has been dealt with. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.''
