Luke Humphries will not seal three titles in a row on the European Tour as he will not head to the Dutch Darts Championship in Zwolle.
Humphries has a friends wedding to head to which he referenced in his post match interview in joking with Rob Cross that he will have a chance to win a title this time.
He has won so far in Munich, Prague and finally in Stuttgart and has also sealed a Players Championship title.
"I'd love to be in Zwolle but I've got to miss next week unfortunately," he added. "It gives everyone else a chance!
"I deserve this rest now. It's been full-on for a long time and that [win in Stuttgart] takes me up to second in the ProTour Order of Merit. I am making huge strides in the game."
