Last weekend, several tournaments were played as part of the DartPlayers New Zealand Winmau ProTour. Both Ben Robb and Darren Dummigan won titles in Dunedin.
Robb solidified his lead on the 2023 DPNZ ProTour by winning his sixth 2023 ProTour title on Saturday. The 34-year-old New Zealander, who finished top of the DPNZ rankings in 2022, won over Kayden Milne in the final by a score of 7-1.

Ben Robb, however, failed to win the tournament on Sunday. He lost at the last 16 to Darren Dummingan. Dummingan then made it to the final, where he defeated Tukina Weko 7-5. With this, Dummingan took his first title on the DPNZ ProTour.
Robb is on 152 points after 10 tournaments, giving him a wide lead over Kaylden Milne and Hupai Puha, who are both on 112 points. The fourth spot on the DPNZ ranking is currently held by darts veteran Warren Parry.
The top 16 in the rankings at the end of the season may participate in the qualifying tournament for the PDC World Championship. The winner of this qualifying tournament gets to travel to the Alexandra Palace in December. The past two years it was Robb who managed to win the qualifying tournament.
On Oct. 7 and 8, the final tournaments of the DPNZ ProTour 2023 will be played in Christchurch. Continuing on October 9, the World Cup qualifying tournament will also take place in Christchurch.
