The Arsene Wenger version of a dart
The 17th PDC Challenge Tour of the season has gone the way of Robert Grundy who saw off frontrunner, Christian Kist in the final in Milton Keynes.
Grundy saw Vitezslav Sedlak, Owen Bates and finally the former Lakeside champion in succession to seal the deal.
He was famed earlier this month when playing MODUS Super Series for having a barrel that looked like it had no stem which social media pointed out made him look like the Arsene Wenger of darts barrels.
There is one more tournament today which is currently ongoing, with the last tournament of the weekend set for tomorrow morning.
Spots for the 2023 Pro Tour and Tour Cards for 2024 and 2025 can be earned on the Challenge Tour.
The highest-ranked players on the PDC Challenge Tour Order of Merit are eligible for reserve spots on the Players Championships.
The number one and two on the Challenge Tour rankings will be offered a PDC Tour Card at the end of the season for the following two seasons. In addition, they may also participate in the World Darts Championship.
