Rock reaches milestone as Noppert already loses career high spot in updated PDC Order of Merit

A week after Danny Noppert could call himself the world number seven for the first time, he has already lost that position. Jonny Clayton snatched this spot back by reaching the semi-finals at Players Championship 9 last weekend.
Noppert can try to regain the seventh spot next weekend. The difference with his Welsh rival is only £3,000. Dirk van Duijvenbode remained stuck in eleventh place despite winning Players Championship 10. His gap to tenth-placed Dimitri van den Bergh is still wide at £43,250.
Incidentally, the ninth Players Championship tournament was won by Krzysztof Ratajski, who thereby passed Gabriel Clemens on the PDC Order of Merit and is now nineteenth.
A milestone came for up-and-coming talent Josh Rock. Thanks to reaching two quarter-finals in Wigan, 'Rocky' is in the top-32 of the world rankings for the first time in his career.
