Wade, van Barneveld, Bunting and Whitlock among those to secure qualification for European Darts Matchplay

James Wade, Raymond van Barneveld, Stephen Bunting and Simon Whitlock are among those to have secured their qualification for the tenth European Tour event of the year, the European Darts Matchplay.

Wade was a 6-4 winner over Kevin Doets, van Barneveld emerged victorious 6-5 from a tight encounter with Mario Vandenbogaerde and secured his second successful qualification of the day. Bunting was a 6-4 winner over Robert Owen and Whitlock took a 6-4 win over Jimmy Hendriks to secure his spot.
