Ross Smith set to face Wesley Plaisier in Players Championship 13 Final

The final is set at Players Championship 13 with Ross Smith set to face Wesley Plaisier shortly as the experienced PDC pro faces. the former World Master.

There was a situation in the semi-finals which saw three out of the four players remaining being Challenge Tour names without Tour Cards. But Boulton was easily beaten by Smith who claimed a 7-2 win to deny the Scot.

It is a third Players Championship final of the season for Smith and his best chance to add another ranking title given that he has been the favourite for a few rounds. But Plaisier has perhaps been playing the best all day.

He underlined that against Cam Crabtree in the semi-finals. He sealed a 7-3 win over the Englishman with a 101.6 average and now has the chance for a first PDC senior title at the hands of 'Smudger'.
