Rydz whitewashes Burger in superb display, Home favourite Lerchbacher edges past Tricole

The opening round continues at the Austrian Darts Open with Callan Rydz surging through to Day Two in Graz.
Rydz whitewashed host nation qualifier, Dietmar Burger 6-0 with a 98 average, three 180’s and two ton plus checkouts en route to quashing the hopes of another Host Nation Qualifier.

While for Zoran Lerchbacher, he is through after producing an epic 167 checkout en route to edging past recent WDF World finalist, Thibault Tricole 6-5.
For Gabriel Clemens, he missed 23 darts at doubles but eased past Spanish debutant Tony Martinez 6-1. In the double Dutch battle, Danny Noppert edged through 6-5 producing a 104 checkout in the decider.
