The first double session of action at the 2022/23 PDC
World Darts Championship is here with two-time World Champion,
Adrian Lewis,
Kim Huybrechts and
Alan Soutar all in action on Friday afternoon.
After a year which has seen Lewis returned to the winners' circle and he arrives as the fifth best placed ProTour player with a meeting against Daniel Larsson who has shown some of his best darts on the European Tour at times this season and could prove a tough test for 'Jackpot'.
But a stage which sees Lewis produce some of his best darts and a potential meeting with Damon Heta who is yet to have a breakthrough on TV could provide the antidote for Lewis to have another magical run.
Starting off proceedings is a resurgent Alan Soutar who reached the Last 16 last year and reached the Quarter-Finals of the recent Grand Slam of Darts and will face Mal Cuming who will make his debut. The winner faces Daryl Gurney.
Boris Krcmar has never won on the Ally Pally stage but will hope for his best opportunity yet with Japanese qualifier Toru Suzuki awaiting. The winner faces Nathan Aspinall.
Kim Huybrechts will end the session with Grant Sampson who stunned Keane Barry on the opening night awaiting.
