The Quarter-Finals are here at the 2021
Grand Slam of Darts with two bumper ties to kick proceedings off on Friday night.
Main attraction will be the clash between
Gerwyn Price and
Jonny Clayton which sees close friends and Welsh World Cup teammates collide once more. With both now two of arguably the best players in the world, there is always added impetus on the tie.
Especially with Clayton upsetting the form book with victories over Price as of late including in the final of the World Grand Prix which 'The Iceman' said he handed to Clayton.
A match which will likely catch light and turn into a closely ran affair or one of the two running away with it in an impressive display.
But before that, it is the turn of
James Wade and
Rob Cross, the perennial duo of players who come from nowhere to win titles.
Wade won in their group clash earlier this week averaging 111.71 in blowing away 'Voltage' who has been in supreme form as of late but battling gout, 'The Machine' may not be 100% which could lend itself to another semi-final for Cross.
