Darts is back for 2022 with the usual season opener to kick it all off in the form of 2022
Masters which takes place in Milton Keynes starting on Friday night.
Once again, the line-up has been extended to 24 players after the success of the 2021 edition and those outside of the top eight seeds will be in action on Friday night.
So Gerwyn Price, Peter Wright and Michael van Gerwen among others will face the winners of the ties on Friday.
Those involved include
Dimitri van den Bergh who will take on Ian White who has never reached the second round in his seven previous times he has played in the tournament.
While Mervyn King, last year's finalist takes on one of the leading lights of 2021 in Ryan Searle. Krzysztof Ratajski faces Gabriel Clemens, while Dave Chisnall takes on Stephen Bunting.
Brendan Dolan will make his Masters return after a six-year absence when he faces
Rob Cross, who will have the Premier League on his mind as well with the line-up yet to be announced.
Joe Cullen will also battle Daryl Gurney, while to conclude the session,
Dirk van Duijvenbode will take on late replacement, Simon Whitlock who always thrives in these situations.
Devon Petersen is also a late replacement as he has a chance to find some form which has been deserting him as of late when he faces
Luke Humphries.
