We have now reached the penultimate night of action in the Premier League Darts. This one takes place in Sheffield, which has been a fixture in the Premier League program since 2009.
With two rounds of play to go, only one spot for the play-offs remains to be given away. Gerwyn Price, Michael van Gerwen, and Michael Smith are already certain. Van Gerwen takes on Smith in Sheffield, with 'Mighty Mike' hoping to continue his pursuit of Price's lead.
The Welshman himself faces Nathan Aspinall, who is one of two players still in with a chance of winning the fourth starting spot for the play-offs. Aspinall is in a battle for that with Jonny Clayton, who faces Dimitri van den Bergh.
The Belgian can now forget about qualifying for the last four. The same goes for Peter Wright and Chris Dobey, who face each other in the remaining quarter-final. The semi-finals and final will take place later in the evening.
