The Quarter-Finals at the 2021 Grand Slam of Darts come to their conclusion on Saturday night with two bumper ties which feature two of the biggest talking points in this tournament.
It begins with Michael van Gerwen in his increased battle back to the top of the game. He has smashed the average record this week and produced some sublime displays.
He now faces a familiar foe in Michael Smith who eased out of the group and will hope to deny MVG a major ranked title once more and cement his own aspirations of a first.
While Peter Wright will then face Fallon Sherrock who has once again captured the darting world with her brilliance on stage taking out Mensur Suljovic just like her magical run at the World Darts Championship two years ago.
But in Wright, he is an unpredictable customer at the moment since his World Matchplay triumph even admitting himself he tried Sherrock's set up and got on well with it so could we see a similar shaped barrel from both?
He has also been one of the main advocates of Sherrock this week but will he defeat her again like in the groups and quell her run in Wolverhampton or will it be a potential rematch of the Nordic Darts Masters final if MVG and Sherrock move through.
The winners will face off in a bumper Saturday afternoon session which also now includes Gerwyn Price v James Wade who won through on Friday night
