The action continues on Saturday evening at the 2021/22 PDC World Darts Championship with Michael van Gerwen in action for the first time at the Alexandra Palace this year.
Van Gerwen will look to claim his fourth World crown this year and his first since 2019. He faces off against Chas Barstow - one of only a few players in the field without a Tour Card.
Starting off the evening is Boris Krcmar. The big Croatian who will all but save his Tour Card with victory over Adam Hunt. Known for his terrific power scoring, he has yet to click on the stage but will look to do so on the biggest of them all.
As will Ted Evetts who has bad memories of the stage from losing to Fallon Sherrock but will return with a former World finalist in Jim Williams next in his sights. He make his Ally Pally debut and will become a Tour Card holder for the first time next year.
Before MVG is another non Tour Card holder at the moment is Rowby-John Rodriguez who faces Nick Kenny who came through the back door at the PDPA Qualifier to book his spot.
