The Last 16 is upon us at the 2022 German Darts Championship with many of the big names still involved in Hildesheim going into the final day.
Starting it off is Michael van Gerwen who saw off Jose Justicia with relative ease yesterday but faces the player with the performance of the tournament so far in Martin Lukeman.
A player who has been in terrific form all year, 'Smash' averaged 104 defying 108 from Damon Heta to win through and survive a comeback in the process. He will have desires of doing the same to Van Gerwen and claim one of the biggest wins of his career so far.
Following that, Peter Wright faces Krzysztof Ratajski in a game that we've seen a lot over the years in European Tour events back to the days where 'The Polish Eagle' qualified through the East Europe qualifier.
After his first win as World Number One, can Wright mount a charge for a title with victory over Ratajski?
Ryan Searle faces Dimitri van den Bergh, while Michael Smith and Dave Chisnall will lock horns in another St Helens clash. Joe Cullen returned to form again also yesterday and will take on Daryl Gurney.
While Jonny Clayton is set to face Mensur Suljovic after two contrasting displays which saw 'The Ferret' impress and Suljovic take advantage of a really poor Callan Rydz who averaged just 73.
Rob Cross then faces Dirk van Duijvenbode before Karel Sedlacek aims for more giant killing exploits after seeing off Chris Dobey and Adrian Lewis with Jose de Sousa next up.
