Schedule and preview Sunday afternoon session 2022 UK Open featuring Smith-Price and Wade-Barry

The 2022 UK Open Quarter-Finals are set for Sunday afternoon in Minehead with eight players left in the running for the latest major title.

Only two left involved have won major titles with James Wade, the defending champion facing off against Keane Barry who will look to continue his stellar run by seeing off the nine-dart hero of Saturday night. While 'The Machine' will have desires of his own to go back-to-back.

Sebastian Bialecki has been one of the main success stories this weekend with the young Pole not having a Tour Card but he has reached the Quarter-Finals.

Like may youth stars, he has no fear and has been showing that this weekend including in his last win against Ryan Searle. He will face William O'Connor next who dumped out Peter Wright.

Then it is the turn of Danny Noppert who only returned to action last weekend in Riesa due to becoming a father but he has returned to form and hit the ground running. He is set to face Damon Heta who dumped out Michael van Gerwen and Jonny Clayton on Saturday and has brought his ProTour form onto the stage.

Michael Smith will fancy his chances of finally claiming his first major but only if he can get past Gerwyn Price.

A man on a mission this weekend to retain his World Number One spot and add the UK Open for the first time, Price has been successful so far.

But faces Smith who could prove the trickiest test yet for 'The Iceman' and stamp his own aspirations to become winner on Sunday evening.
