The evening session is here on the first double day of action at the 2021/22 PDC World Darts Championship with one clash in particular taking main billing on Thursday as two-time World Champions collide in Gary Anderson and Adrian Lewis.
Already facing off in the second round, Lewis already has played on the Ally Pally stage such has been his fall from grace of sorts with victory over Matt Campbell on the opening night.
It is always heavily touted that 'Jackpot' is back but can he produce against a player he has faced in both World finals.
Starting proceedings off is American speedster Danny Lauby. Fresh off some match practice in the Online Darts Live League where he showed some form, he will hope to finally claim a win on the Ally Pally stage with Q-School then on the agenda.
He faces William O'Connor who has a best of a third round in 2019, the last two years he has reached the second round - can he continue that tonight.
Second up is the German youngster Fabian Schmutzler who came from nowhere to claim the EU Development Tour spot in his first weekend of action. He is the second youngest to play in the tournament and the youngest at Ally Pally.
Only Mitchell Clegg eclipses him but he played at the Circus Tavern but instead of a monumental task like Raymond van Barneveld - the 16 year old faces off against Ryan Meikle who himself will be a stern test.
Looking for his first win on the Ally Pally stage, he averaged a huge 108.7 in seeing off Dirk van Duijvenbode in Minehead recently showing that the form is there this year for a big run.
From a first time hopeful to a multiple World Champion as Lisa Ashton once again takes to the Ally Pally stage. Two defeats prior to Jan Dekker and Adam Hunt, the trailblazer will be one of two Women's Series qualifiers before Fallon Sherrock takes centre stage later this week.
But in Ron Meulenkamp, some are predicting a first victory on the PDC World's stage for 'The Lancashire Rose' who will want to provide a shock before the top billed Anderson-Lewis clash.
