Schedule and preview Thursday evening session 2021/22 PDC World Darts Championship including Van Barneveld-Cross

As Christmas draws in, darts will take a momentary pause after one last session of top quality tungsten at the Alexandra Palace as the 2021/22 PDC World Championship concludes the second round action.

One tie in particular will be highly touted this evening as a five-time World Champion meets a one-time World Champion as Raymond van Barneveld faces Rob Cross.

A caveat of Van Barneveld's route was the potential to face 'Voltage' who has been in brilliant form post Premier League this year claiming a major title again at the European Championship.

He will fancy his chances of doing a job on the doyen of Dutch darts but can 'Barney' conjure up some magic?

While two stars who could yet contest major finals in the future finish the action as Chris Dobey faces Rusty-Jake Rodriguez in a mouth watering clash. Before that, it's the turn of Lewy Williams who takes on Gabriel Clemens as the young Welshman looks to dump out the German ace.
