A bumper session sees the PDC World Darts Championship continue on Tuesday evening as two former World Champions toe the oche.
Peter Wright breezed past Ryan Meikle in his opener but hasn't played since Friday December 17 so has had some time away from the oche over Christmas.
He faces Damon Heta in the second match of the evening who will look to spring a shock after disposing of Luke Woodhouse on the day of the Christmas break.
While to start proceedings off, it is Rob Cross who similarly played on that final day dumping out Raymond van Barneveld - this before the doyen of Dutch darts then tested positive for Covid-19.
In reports in The Sun newspaper, Cross admitted that he has been keeping himself apart from family members and testing multiple times a day after Van Barneveld hugged him post match.
But barring any late news as of time of writing, Cross will toe the oche to begin the opening tie against Daryl Gurney who took care of Ricky Evans.
If both players continue their 2021 form lines so far, it could be a belter.
This of course will be shrouded by the news of Michael van Gerwen who was due to headline this evening against Chris Dobey testing positive for COVID-19.
He becomes the third World Darts Championship case and the second in as many days as Vincent van der Voort, his close friend who he spent Christmas with also got it.
This means that for a second night running we are only treated to two games as Dobey will go straight through to face Dave Chisnall or Luke Humphries for a spot in the Quarter-Finals.

Third Round (3x)
