Schedule final session US Darts Masters including Michael van Gerwen, Luke Littler and Luke Humphries

Eight men remain in the race for the title at the 2024 US Darts Masters. On the night from Saturday to Sunday the World Series of Darts tournament reaches its conclusion, with the quarterfinals, semifinals and final of this event taking place in turn.

Almost all PDC stars made it to the last eight on the first day of play. Only Michael Smith, winner of the 2022 US Darts Masters, slipped up on one of the North American representatives. 'Bullyboy' was beaten by Jeff Smith, last year's losing finalist. Michael van Gerwen easily defeated Danny Lauby (6-1) in the first round. The 35-year-old Dutchman will face Rob Cross in the first quarterfinal, who also gave up only one leg against Adam Sevada.

Luke Humphries recorded a 6-0 victory over David Cameron in his opening match at Madison Square Garden. It earned him a meeting with Nathan Aspinall, who gave Stowe Buntz 6-2 no chance of pulling off a shock. Jeff Smith now faces Luke Littler after his surprising victory over Michael Smith. 'The Nuke' played rock solid in his first appearance on American soil, winning 6-0 over Matt Campbell. In the process, Littler threw an average of 103.66, the highest average of the entire first round.

The final quarterfinal though, is a tie between former world champions Gerwyn Price and Peter Wright. Price won for the second consecutive year over Jules van Dongen in the first round. 'The Iceman' won 6-3 over the Dutch American after a fine performance. Wright had a particularly hard time in his match against Alex Spellman, but managed to beat Spellman 6-5 after a decisive leg.

The first round of the US Darts Masters will get underway on Saturday, June 1, at 01:00 a.m. ET. The eight winners of the first round may return to the stage of the Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden a day later. Then the quarterfinals, semifinals and finals will be played consecutively.

The prize pool for this event includes £60,000. This amount is the same at all regular World Series tournaments. All participants are guaranteed 1250 pounds of prize money.

This amount increases further upon winning matches. The losing finalist collects a check for 10,000 pounds, while the winner of the US Darts Masters gets to take home the top prize of 20,000 pounds. By the way, the money does not count toward the PDC Order of Merit.
