The world's top players are visiting Riesa this weekend, playing the second Euro tour tournament of the season at the International Darts Open. Friday afternoon, the first eight matches from the first round will be played.

The sixteen Pro Tour qualifiers and the sixteen winners of the various qualifying tournaments will make their appearance in the first round on Friday. Two Dutchmen and one Belgian will be in action during the first session.
In the opening match of the tournament, Jitse van der Wal will face off with Ritchie Edhouse. Later in the afternoon, Richard Veenstra will play against former UK Open champion Andrew Gilding.
Mike de Decker will face off with Alexander Masek. Furthermore, Brendan Dolan will play against Kai Gotthardt, while Luke Woodhouse will face Michael Unterbuchner.
Two-time major winner Daryl Gurney begins his tournament against Patrick Klingelhoefer. Callan Rydz opens against Lee Evans, while the afternoon session concludes with a duel between William O'Connor and Mervyn King.
