The stage is set for the semi-finals at the 2021
World Grand Prix with four names left and the dream of an Welsh final still there.
Jonny Clayton saw off Krzysztof Ratajski in a 3-2 victory in a performance which saw a 91.44 average, 58.33% on starting doubles and 68.42% overall on checkout percentage.
This was awarded the PDC Performance of the Night and he now takes on
Danny Noppert who has been 'Mr Consistency' throughout this tournament. After superb victories over Michael van Gerwen, Vincent van der Voort and Ian White, he will take aim at ruining the dream of an all Welsh final.
Gerwyn Price eased past Dave Chisnall but will have the crowd against him further after comments about them being 'pathetic' which throws an interesting curve to his match with
Stephen Bunting.
Bunting came through an edgy scrap with Ryan Searle and after losing against Price in the semi-finals at the World Championship to the Iceman, he will aim to send a Bullet through the hopes of his title defence.
