Schedule & Preview for Night 15 of 2021 Premier League Darts featuring De Sousa against Van Gerwen

Michael van Gerwen versus Jose de Sousa is the highlight of Night 15 as the Premier League Darts play-off picture looks to be crystallising.

Peter Wright made his usual pleasantries with Dimitri van den Bergh and the Marshall Arena crowd after sealing victory over the Belgian; before that, he allowed himself an energetic fistpump to celebrate a huge success. Only four wins from four was going to give Snakebite an outside chance of making the play-offs. He's now halfway there. Next up is Jonny Clayton, who stuttered on Tuesday night. Could one almighty comeback be on? If Wright wins, he'll at least have an outside chance on Night 16.

James Wade is only one point back from Wright, and yet the picture is totally different. Now winless in his last six, Wade needs a massive win to stay alive. He takes on Dimitri van den Bergh, who appears to be cursed. A 106 average and 63% on the doubles should be enough to win darts matches; that's simply a law of nature. To lose 8-5 is an aberration. Hopefully the Dream Maker keeps that in mind, and keeps producing the sort of form that will earn wins.

Gary Anderson's Tuesday defeat sends him down to eighth in the Premier League Darts table, and with his leg difference his goose is browning nicely, if not completely cooked. Nathan Aspinall, meanwhile, has one foot in the play-offs. One more point would seal the deal, but the Asp will want a repeat of his Judgement Night thrashing of the two-time champion to reinforce his title credentials.

The form horses go head to head in the last match of the penultimate night. Michael van Gerwen has picked up eight points from a possible ten since Judgement Night, while Jose de Sousa has scooped nine. The latter's form since a shaky start has been nothing short of astounding. Big scoring is a cert in this one. De Sousa will be keen to get over the line ASAP, given that it doesn't get any easier after this match with Nathan Aspinall his final opponent.
