The UK Open Darts 2025 is approaching the decisive stage and on Saturday afternoon the fifth round is scheduled to take place. Starting at 12:45 p.m., four different boards will be competing for a spot in the next round.
With big names aplenty, it promises to be an exciting afternoon in Minehead. At the end of the session there will be another draw on stage to determine the matches for the Last 16.

On the main stage, the biggest names will be in action. Dimitri van den Bergh opens the session against Chris Dobey, followed by a clash between teenage sensation Luke Littler and Jermaine Wattimena. Then Ryan Searle takes on reigning world champion Luke Humphries, who escaped defeat against Beau Greaves on Friday night. The afternoon concludes with Michael van Gerwen taking on Robert Owen.
On court 2, some interesting matches are also scheduled. Josh Rock and Ross Smith open proceedings, followed by a duel between the experienced Jonny Clayton and Alan Soutar. The young Dutchman Jurjen van der Velde will face Nathan Aspinall, while former world champion Rob Cross will take on Danny Noppert.
Dave Chisnall and Krzysztof Ratajski on the oche in the first match of the day on board 3, where Mensur Suljovic and William O'Connor will also compete. Furthermore, Madars Razma will cross swords with former world champion Michael Smith, while Gian van Veen will go up for a spot in the last sixteen against Stephen Burton.
The remaining matches are scheduled on board 4, starting with Martin Schindler against Dylan Slevin. This match will be followed by a showdown between Danny Lauby and Ryan Joyce. Three-time UK Open champion James Wade meets Cameron Menzies, while Connor Scutt faces Damon Heta after his stunt against Gerwyn Price.
The UK Open will be broadcast in the UK today on ITV4 this afternoon and ITV3 later on and is the only channel change throughout the tournament.
Multiple stages will be used during the first two days of play. The matches outside the main stage can also be seen on PDC TV. The afternoon session on Feb. 28 begins at 11, while the afternoon sessions on the other two days start at 12:45 p.m. All evening sessions start from 7 p.m.
The UK Open Darts 2025 will see £600,000 in prize money distributed. The tournament once began in 2003 with a much more modest prize pool of £124,000, of which the winner received £30,000. Since then, the event has grown considerably, both in prize money and popularity. The winner nowadays goes home with the top prize of £110,000.
