Luke Littler is through to Saturday's action at the UK Open with Jermaine Wattimena now awaiting. But despite some perhaps seeing Peter Wright as a pushover due to recent form, 'Snakebite' showed he is anything but.

He pushed him to a deciding leg and perhaps should've won against Littler who remarked prior that he was ill in the run-up to the Premier League but still managed to reach the final in a superb feat.
"I go 2-0 up and lose the next couple of legs, usually I'm flying off four, five nil headstarts but tonight I had to come back quite a few times," said Littler to Online Darts.
"I've not seen Peter (Wright) throw in quite a while but you can't expect a bad game from Peter. So I just expected whatever come at me."
"I just said to myself whatever happens happens. Obviously made the switch back to the black Pixel darts and it went well. It's hard to come back after playing so well last night and waiting all day to play tonight but I'm glad I got the win."
It brings back memories being in Minehead and he will hope to collect a UK Open to add to his collection.

"I've got a good record here obviously winning the World Youth two years ago, first UK Open was a Quarter-Final. Hopefully I can go deep in this competition."
"Everyone's going to raise their game and by the first three darts, I'll know how well they're going to play against me. But that's just me having to raise my game even further."
Albeit he jokingly said he won't want to play on the outer boards in a hypothetical question about whether he would.
"I played there twice on my debut. But no I don't want to play there again. Board 1 or Board 2 will do me."
