On Saturday night, the second round will conclude at the
European Championship Darts with the line-up confirmed for the Quarter-Finals.
Among those involved include Gian van Veen who had a brilliant debut at the European Darts Championship on Friday evening. He left Damon Heta powerless in a 6-1 win and also threw an average of 107. Van Veen will take on Daryl Gurney in the second round at the beginning of the evening, who took the win in the Northern Irish clash against Josh Rock.

The four-time European Championship winner survived two match darts against Madars Razma in the first round, so he faces Ricardo Pietreczko in the last sixteen. The German eliminated defending champion Ross Smith from the tournament to the delight of the German home crowd present.
Two more duels are scheduled. James Wade faces off with Jose de Sousa, after their wins over Dirk van Duijvenbode and Jonny Clayton respectively in the previous round. Luke Humphries meets Krzysztof Ratajski for a place in the quarter-finals Humphries started the tournament with a resounding victory over Brendan Dolan, while Ratajski was responsible for the elimination of Joe Cullen.
Where to watch the European Darts Championship?
This week's European Championship will be broadcast live by ITV. The 2023 European Darts Championship begins on Thursday, Oct. 26, at 6 p.m.. On this evening, the first eight duels from the first round will be played. A day later, the remaining eight matches from the first round are scheduled.
Saturday the second round will be completed, divided into an afternoon session and an evening session. The quarterfinals are on Sunday afternoon, followed by the semifinals and finals in the evening.
How much prize money is up for grabs at the European Darts Championship?
The PDC has provided £500,000 in prize money for this event. All 32 participants are guaranteed a £6,000 starting premium.
With a win in the first round, the proceeds rise to £10,000. This eventually rises further to £120,000 in prize money for the winner of the European Darts Championship.
