Saturday night, players in Groups A, C, E and G begin their
Grand Slam of Darts campaign. The standout clash and likely to take top billing on Sky Sports coverage sees
Michael van Gerwen face
Fallon Sherrock.
Sherrock famously had a run to the latter stages last year and lost to Van Gerwen from a winning position in the Nordic Darts Masters previously in Copenhagen and in the short format will have her eyes set again on history.

The evening session kicks off with a duel between James Wade and Krzysztof Ratajski. With world champion and defending champion
Michael Smith also in this group, it is a duel for Wade and Ratajski to win. Smith himself plays at the end of the evening against rookie Nathan Girvan, a finalist at the 2022 Youth World Championship.
Then we have Group E. That group starts with a clash between Dave Chisnall and Stephen Bunting. There is also another encounter between two-time world champion
