Schedule Saturday night at UK Open 2024 with Luke Littler, Luke Humphries and Peter Wright on main stage

The 16 remaining players at the 2024 UK Open will try to guarantee their return for finals day tomorrow of the 'FA Cup of Darts' in Minehead on Saturday night.

The draw for the last 16 produced a top affair between Peter Wright and Stephen Bunting. Wright was responsible for eliminating defending champion Andrew Gilding (10-1) in the afternoon session, while Bunting survived four match darts against Kevin Doets. Teenage sensation Luke Littler continues his hunt for a first PDC major against Dave Chisnall while reigning world champion Luke Humphries will face off with Mervyn King.

The darter from Poederoijen started the tournament with a 6-3 victory over John Henderson, after which he also beat Florian Hempel (10-7) and Graham Usher (10-7). Van Veen will now face Damon Heta, who was responsible for the elimination of Simon Whitlock and Nathan Aspinall.

Dimitri van den Bergh had to see off the Belgian honor. After victories over Brendan Dolan (10-8) and Vincent van der Voort (10-6), Jonny Clayton is the next opponent. The Welshman defeated Tim Wolters (10-9) and Ross Smith (10-8);

On the second board the three remaining matches from the last 16 will be played. The lightning-fast Englishman Ricky Evans will take on Luke Woodhouse there, who has already managed to send Raymond van Barneveld and Michael Smith home.

Two-time world champion Gary Anderson was paired in the draw with Martin Lukeman, who eliminated former winner Danny Noppert in the afternoon. Furthermore, Rob Cross will square off against Keane Barry.
