Seven players already assured of participation in Grand Slam of Darts 2024

Dimitri van den Bergh has become the seventh player to qualify for the Grand Slam of Darts. 'The Dreammaker' qualified for this major tournament by reaching the final at the UK Open last weekend and subsequently winning this tournament as well.

All finalists of major television tournaments will receive an invitation to participate in the Grand Slam of Darts. The field of participants will be supplemented by eight qualifiers and eight other winners of various rankings and international tournaments.

Luke Humphries and Rob Cross already qualified for the 2024 Grand Slam of Darts last year by reaching the final of the last edition. Humphries managed to win the tournament then.

Michael van Gerwen secured placement by reaching the final at the Players Championship Finals, while his countryman Gian van Veen will also compete at the Grand Slam of Darts in 2024 because Van Veen was in the final of the PDC World Youth Championship in 2023.

The same was true for Luke Littler, but he has since qualified for the Grand Slam of Darts as a World Championship finalist. Furthermore, Stephen Bunting is also certain to participate due to his title at the Masters in early February.
