Sherrock and Nijman claim double victories to begin A Night At The Darts Group Three

The action has began in Group Three of A Night At The Darts with Fallon Sherrock starting to hit her stride and Wessel Nijman continuing his form.

Sherrock is on two wins so far after beginning her campaign with victory over Kyle McKinstry at the fourth time of asking. This saw 'The Queen of the Palace' hit a 96 average and four 180's en route to a 5-4 victory.

The Milton Keynes ace followed that up with a comfortable 5-1 victory over Martin Adams for the second time this weekend with only David Evans and Wessel Nijman left in her pursuit of a group win.

Speaking of Nijman, he is also on two wins so far. He started the evening off with a 5-3 win over Martin Adams, hitting a 100 average with four 180's and 55 percent on the doubles to start off well.

He followed that up with victory over double group winner David Evans hitting a 99.8 and five 180's en route to a 5-3 win.

Evans though recovered after his early defeat to edge past Kyle McKinstry 5-3 with a high checkout of 137 as he looks to claim three wins in a row.

A Night At The Darts is a competition that runs in conjunction with the Icons of Darts League. Each playing week consists of six players. There are five players on each matchday with one player taking a rest.

Each evening like the day consists of four matches for each player with the player with the most wins claiming the group win.
