Fallon Sherrock produced an insanely good display to ease past Mike de Decker and also take away a slice of history in the form of the highest Women's TV average.
Sherrock is now off the mark in the Grand Slam of Darts after hitting 101.55 but speaking afterwards, she admitted she didn't have a clue what was happening at the time.
"Not a clue, I was thinking just win, just get each leg as it comes. In my head I was just thinking get as far away as you can from him because I know when Mike starts scoring, he's a very heavy scorer. It was only when I was 4-0 up that I started thinking about it," said Sherrock post match.
As well as giving her immediate reaction to finding out she broke the record set by Lisa Ashton earlier in 2021 against Aaron Beeney.
"That's insane. I'm very proud of myself for doing that. I'm absolutely buzzing with that."
"My main objective tonight was just to win a game to try and get me back into it and obviously I'll take next game as it comes.
