Fallon Sherrock has produced another incredible display to win for the first time on the Grand Slam of Darts stage whitewashing Mike de Decker 5-0.
Sherrock produced a new record women's TV average eclipsing the previous mark set by Lisa Ashton earlier this year with 101.55, four 180's and 56% on the doubles for 'The Queen of the Palace'.
A few missed doubles at the end aside, it could have been over 105 as she proves again she is among the best with the first win over a male player in this tournament since Anastasia Dobromyslova famously beat Vincent van der Voort in 2009.
Sherrock began with a 180 on De Decker's throw and went seven darts into a nine-darter before pinning double eight to claim a break.
It was a third 180 for the Milton Keynes ace and she pinned double 20 for a 2-0 lead. A 31 checkout and double 14 saw Sherrock break again and go 3-0 up before starting with a 180 on her throw with a 111 average.
This was up to 113 as she took aim at 81 which she pinned on double nine to go one away.
She snatched a 60 for the win but De Decker bust seven and Sherrock returned for double 16 and an incredible win.
The same fortunes couldn't be said for Lisa Ashton before Sherrock took to the stage who lost 5-2 against John Henderson.
It was a firmly professional display for Henderson who averaged 91 with 45% on the doubles against 'The Lancashire Rose' to keep himself in contention.
Henderson pinned double 10 last dart in hand to hold throw and head into the lead. Ashton missed 122 on the bull for a hold and Henderson snuck in double 20 for an 80 checkout and a break.
Double 10 saw Henderson go two away from the finishing line with a hold of throw. Ashton got her first leg on the board with a brilliant 94 checkout on the bull to hold.
Henderson set up double 20 and hit double 10 to go one away. Ashton aimed to go out with a flourish pinning a 180 and missed double 16 for a 105 checkout.
But watched as Henderson missed bull for a 161, she returned and pinned double eight to make it 4-2 as the crowd roared even more.
An 89 checkout saw Henderson through in the end as he kept his hopes alive.
