Sherrock spoke afterwards about how her mentality has changed as well from her exploits at Ally Pally with the confidence now fully there.
"I definitely feel more confident. I definitely feel like I'm playing better than I was two years ago. I had a lot to learn and I'm a better player," said Sherrock post match.
As a precursor, she reached the final of the Nordic Darts Masters and believed that helped in playing legs against the best in the world.
"The format is kind of similar so I've had the practice in it and I've played the players that are in this tournament pretty much. I'm really grateful that I got the opportunity to play in it and it's made me a better player."

Next up is a familiar face in Mensur Suljovic who she defeated in her famous run at the Alexandra Palace and it is a take every game as it comes mentality.
"I'm going into that very excited. I'm going to take each game as it comes and see how the game pans out because it's obviously a different format, these are legs these aren't sets. So who knows what happens."
