Sherrock makes winning start with Norris win on Day One of 2023 PDC UK Q-School

The opening round has began on Day One of PDC UK Q-School with Fallon Sherrock producing one of the best displays so far to see off Alan Norris in a tough opening round assignment in Milton Keynes.

Sherrock as ever comes into Q-School this year aiming to finally seal a coveted PDC Tour Card and produced an 89 average in seeing off 'Chuck' 5-4.

While also off the Women's Series and playing so far are Lisa Ashton, the first female player to win a Tour Card by right at PDC Q-School. She lost though in her opener to David Wawrzewski who averaged 89 in a 5-1 win. While Lorraine Winstanley is also out 5-2.

There have been wins though for WDF standout James Hurrell averaging 96, Josh Payne, James Richardson and Colin Osborne among others with the first round still early on.
