Fallon Sherrock has been nominated for an award given out by the BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation) celebrating the achievements of women in sport.
Called Best British Women's Sporting Moment, it sees Sherrock pitted against the likes of England's 2017 World Cup winning team in Cricket; as well as Jessica Ennis-Hill's heptathlon gold at London 2012 Olympics; with every major sport represented in the vote.
The Milton Keynes ace was picked by Peter Wright to represent Darts in the vote; the reigning PDC World Champion said the following about his favourite women's sporting moment.
"My best women's sporting moment is
Fallon Sherrock winning her first game at the PDC World Championship against Ted Evetts. It was absolutely fantastic; up against men, long-distance with all the pressure from the TV cameras and all the news round the world. She did fantastically."
The results will be revealed on the
BBC Sport website from 16:30 BST on Thursday, 28 May; with a countdown of the top 10 on BBC Radio 5 Live show The Inside Track; on the same day at 8pm.
