Sherrock was one of the main names in the field; she lived up to that claiming victories over Lorraine Winstanley and Lisa Ashton en route who many would consider were her main rivals.
The Milton Keynes ace who posted a 99 average in one of her games called it her biggest achievement in darts; as well as that despite from her perspective ladies darts not getting the recognition it deserves, she is proud with how she played.
Next up will be Ted Evetts; in the first round; in one of the most intriguing ties of the first round.
"I feel absolutely over the moon," said Sherrock.
"This is a brilliant achievement. It's definitely my biggest achievement so far and I'm really excited about playing at the World Championship.
"The Women's game is on the up and we sometimes don't get the recognition we deserve; but I'm really proud of my performances today."
