Sherrock seals spot in final stage at 2023 PDC UK Q-School thanks to whitewash win

Fallon Sherrock recorded an important victory on Wednesday on the final day of the first stage of the UK Q-School.

The Milton Keynes thrower was too strong for Terry Winfield 5-0 in the first round. As a result, Sherrock picked up her fourth point during the first stage, enough to qualify for the final stage via the Q-School Order of Merit.

Should the 'Queen of the Palace' manage to reach the last eight on Wednesday, she will qualify for the final phase of the Q-School that way and a spot will become available via the rankings.

During the first phase of the Q-School, no PDC Tour Cards are handed out yet. Players try to qualify for the final phase, which is scheduled from 12 to 15 January. Players who lost their Tour Card after last season and the best eight players from the Challenge Tour and Development Tour in 2022 are directly admitted to the final phase.
