Jeff Smith and Gary Anderson will meet each other in the first Players Championship final of the season on Saturday.

Smith reclaimed his PDC Tour Card at the Q-School a month ago, after having one in 2012 and 2013. The Canadian defeated the likes of Dave Chisnall, Nathan Aspinall and Peter Wright to reach the semi-finals.
He met Brendan Dolan, who knocked out world number one Michael van Gerwen in the third round. Smith won the first three legs, before claiming a 7-2 victory.
Anderson overcame two-time world champion Adrian Lewis to move into his first final of the season. He broke Lewis' throw in the fourth leg with a 12-darter and beat Jackpot 7-3 with another 12-darter in the tenth leg.
