Michael Smith and Joe Cullen are into tonight's Last 16 at the expense of Gary Anderson and Rob Cross at the Players Championship Finals.
Both had to produce comebacks to win through with Smith defeating Anderson in a reverse of the latter's victory over Keegan Brown yesterday.
It was 'Bully Boy' though who came from 4-1 down to win averaging 103 and hitting seven 180's and 55% on the doubles.
While Cullen came from 3-0 down and survived a match dart in the deciding leg to defeat Cross in a 6-5 victory with 'Voltage' ending what looked like a good return spell ahead of the World Championship.
Over on Stage Two, Callan Rydz is into the Last 16 of a TV tournament for the first time after a 6-4 win over Ryan Searle, Mervyn King breezed past Danny Noppert 6-1 while Damon Heta survived two match darts in the deciding leg to defeat Ryan Murray and continue his good form.
