Smith-Neale wants to assert himself on the PDC circuit after return: ''I have shown I can do some damage''

The final PDC Tour Card at the 2023 Q-School went to Adam Smith-Neale. The 29-year-old defeated Nick Kenny in the final of the last tournament on Sunday evening.

''Just over the moon. Especially after 10 years, I'm back. This has taken a lot out of me. I'm going to have a good sleep. Probably going to take a day off from work'', he told the PDC afterwards.

Smith-Neale needed seven match-darts to seal the win in a thrilling final. ''What was going through my mind? ''Don't miss, don't miss, don't miss. I kept missing, but got there at the end.''

Smith-Neale previously won a Tour Card at the Q-School in 2011, but lost it after 2012. Since then, 'Bull Dog' no longer held a Tour Card. During that period, the Englishman was in action on the BDO circuit, where he surprisingly won the 2018 Winmau World Masters.

Now he wants to assert himself on the PDC circuit. ''Over the last ten years I have shown I can do some damage. Now I'm older. When you get older you learn a lot of things. What to do and what not to do. I can do a lot of damage, I'm hunderd percent sure.''
