Luke Humphries has won the fourth night of the Premier League Darts 2025 in Exeter. In the final, he defeated Luke Littler 6-4, winning his second weekly title and cementing his lead in the rankings.
The evening began with a surprising result. Michael van Gerwen, who has performed inconsistently so far, had to give way to Rob Cross (5-6) in the quarterfinals. Gerwyn Price also failed to win; he lost 4-6 to frontrunner Luke Humphries, leaving the numbers two and three in the standings prior to the round of play already out after two matches.
In the other quarterfinals, Nathan Aspinall narrowly defeated Chris Dobey (6-5), while Luke Littler played a sensational match against Stephen Bunting. He recorded an impressive average of 113.10, eliminating Bunting 6-3.
In the semifinals, Luke Humphries remained calm in a thrilling match against Rob Cross, which he won 6-5. Luke Littler was again untouchable, leaving Nathan Aspinall defenseless with a 6-2 victory in which he posted an average of 109.67.
The grand final became an enthralling battle between the two best darters in the world. Luke Humphries once again showed his class, defeating Luke Littler 6-4, thanks in part to an average of 101.24.
With this victory, Humphries solidifies his lead in the standings. He now has 15 points, while Littler is in second place with 8 points. Gerwyn Price (7 points) and Michael van Gerwen (6 points) follow behind.
