Stone leads latest Online Darts League Group A heading into final day

Gary Stone holds a slender lead going into the final day of action during Group A of Online Darts League Week Four.

Stone is currently on 14 points after finishing second on the day today with eight points only behind Jarred Cole on leg difference.

He is ahead of Kevin Burness and Cole who both sit on 12 points each with Richie Burnett rounding out the top four, all of whom have the opportunity to reach the final.

Each player will play against the other players in the group three times through Wednesday. The winner of this group goes directly to the final group on Saturday.  

The numbers two, three and four of the ranking will play a new group against two new players on Thursday evening and Friday evening. This is Chas Barstow and Nick Fullwell.

The numbers five and six of the ranking on Wednesday will also play a new group against new participants. Rob Collins, Connor Scutt, Johnny Haines and Chris Gilliland are the entrants in this group.

They will be in action on Thursday afternoon and Friday afternoon. Three players from the evening group go to the final group and two from the morning group, so that the final group consists of six players.

Unlike the first edition of the Modus League in 2020, the game will not be played online via a webcam connection, but at a location in Southampton, England. The matches can be followed via the Online Darts YouTube channel .
