The fourth Challenge Tour of the season had concluded with Stu Wilson ending the second day with a title.
Wilson saw off Pete Burgoyne 5-3 in the final after seeing off Maikel Verberk, Leighton Bennett and finally Burgoyne in the final.
He joins Steve Haggerty and Scott Williams who claimed an opening day double on Friday. There is one more day to come with a sole event on Sunday afternoon.
The Challenge Tour circuit is open to players who have entered the Q-School but have not won a Tour Card. Places on the Pro Tour for 2022 and Tour Cards for 2023 and 2024 can be earned on this tour.
The highest-ranking players on the PDC Challenge Tour Order of Merit qualify for the reserve spots at the Players Championships.
