Suljovic against Ratajski and Price versus Joyce confirmed for Players Championship 27 semi-finals

The semi-final line-up has been confirmed at Players Championship 27 with Mensur Suljovic set to face Krzysztof Ratajski in a bumper tie.
Suljovic and Ratajski have been the standouts all day with both recent winners on the ProTour and the European Tour.
'The Gentle' averaged 94 and eased past Scott Taylor who himself barring doubling didn't do a lot wrong and this lead to Suljovic easing through.
Ratajski continued his good form with the average of the round winning 6-3 with a 101.8 average in ending the run of Robert Owen.
The second semi-final sees Gerwyn Price face off against Ryan Joyce. Price edged past Cristo Reyes who has reached his second Quarter-Final as of late in an upturn in form for the Spaniard and Joyce will look to move past the Iceman in his pursuit of a maiden PDC title.

- I dont like individuals or crowds trying to put any player off when they are trying to check out, how anyone can think its okay for the crowd to whistle or shout as someone is throwing for a double is beyond me but it does seem to have become part and parcel of the modern game. I no longer play now, darts is as good as dead at a local level round my way but when i did play many years ago, no matter how intense the rivalry you never shouted out or whistled when an opponent from the other team was throwing for a double.Mysstree17-11-2024
