Surprising winners at start of Asian Tour weekend in Philippines

On Saturday, the titles on the PDC Asian Tour surprisingly went to Rosendo Lubaton and Ryan Khristoffer Condat. Both Filipinos won their first Asian Tour title.

The first tournament of the day was won by Lubaton. The latter was 5-2 too strong for seven-time World Championship participant Lourence Ilagan in the final.

Lubaton then lost at the last 32 in the second tournament of the day. Still, it remained a Filipino sweep, the last eight featured as many as seven players of Filipino nationality. The final, however, was between Filipino Ryan Khristoffer Condat and Indian darter Nitin Kumar. Condat proved too strong for Kumar in the final 5-2.
