"Big step to get back towards the top 16 of the ProTour": Ratajski heads towards achieving goals with ProTour title return

Krzysztof Ratajski captured the title at Players Championship 9 in Wigan on Saturday. Coincidentally, it was also the ninth PDC ranking title for the 'Polish Eagle'.
In the final, he was 8-1 far too strong for Chris Landman, who was in his first PDC ranking final. For Ratajski, it was his first title since November 2021 and a big step to resuming his goals.
“It feels incredible. It has felt like three years without a title,” joked Ratajski.
“I am playing well. I am working hard at home and I feel comfortable.
“Last year wasn’t a good year for me. I fell out of the top 16 of the ProTour [Order of Merit] so now I’m having to work very hard to play on the European Tour, because I must play [qualifying events].
“It is very difficult, but I am playing in the next three European Tour events, and now this win is a big step to get back towards the top 16 of the ProTour.
“I think everyone has a bad period, even players in the top four and top ten. It is normal. You must wait, you must be patient and work hard.”

- We don't need the Saudi's money and prohibitive laws. Simply take the World's to other countries like Germany, Holland, Scotland, Poland, Belgium. Not only will you get sell out crowds with bigger venues but it will also freshen up the comp a bit. Let's face it Ally Pally is getting a bit boring now. - Am probably going to be in a small minority, i would not miss the walk ons, best part used to be the lovely ladies which obviously now makes me a misogynist. Its all part of the razzamatazz show business side and its not that long so not something that winds me up however some of the walk on choices are abysmal while some work, MVG and Seven Nation Army being an example.
