Talented Dutch youngster Owen Roelofs signs with Unicorn Darts

Owen Roelofs has signed a sponsorship contract with the iconic darts brand Unicorn Darts. He follows in the footsteps of some greats in the sport.

In the past, darts legends such as Phil Taylor, Raymond van Barneveld and Adrian Lewis were under contract with Unicorn, while this manufacturer now works with darts players such as Michael Smith, James Wade, Ross Smith, Gary Anderson and Chris Dobey.

"We are pleased to announce that this extremely talented young Dutchman has entered into a long-term partnership with us," Unicorn wrote on Twitter. "We are very excited to support Owen in his development."

Roelofs has been active on the PDC Pro Tour since this year, after he won a Tour Card at the European Q-School at the beginning of this year. In his first months on the circuit, he twice reached the last 32 of a Players Championship tournament and Roelofs qualified for a Euro Tour tournament.
